Availability:
Items that are listed as “in stock” on our website are currently on the shelves in our store and will be shipped within 2-4 days of purchase. While we attempt to keep our stock levels as up to date as possible, unfortunately stock may sell out in-store before the website is refreshed. If this happens we will attempt to obtain stock from the distributor quickly and you will be advised if there will be a delay.
If you are unable to find a title on our website, please contact us and we will do our best to track it down for you.
Price Changes:
All prices on items that are listed as “in stock” are current and accurate.
For items that are listed as zero stock, prices are subject to change when new stock is received.
Postage and Handling:
Free Local Home Delivery: We deliver (free) to Beechworth and the immediate surrounds. If you are not present to receive your parcel, we will phone you. We will leave your parcel in a safe place protected from the weather, and text you a photo as proof of delivery. By selecting ‘Free Local Delivery’ you are granting us Authority to Leave.
We charge a flat rate of $9.99 per parcel to anywhere in Australia. Free delivery is offered for orders over $120. Please note we do not deliver overseas.
We use Sendle to deliver items Australia wide, we process orders within 24 hours of being received. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we estimate delivery to metro areas in 2-5 days, with delivery taking up to 10 days in regional and rural areas.
When ordering online you will receive an email confirmation from us. Orders will be despatched within 24 hours. We endeavour to package your books to avoid any damage in transit.
Payment:
We accept payment by MasterCard, Visa and direct deposit. Your credit card details can be entered safely on our secure site and will not be stored once the order has been processed.
Our online transactions are processed by eWAY
Your credit card details are not stored on our site and are provided directly by you to our secure payment gateway provider (eWAY). eWAY does not share personal banking details such as your credit card number with Beechworth Books. We never see them so we can’t store them.
eWAY is a Level 1 PCI DSS compliant service provider and is an authorised third party processor for all the major Australian banks.
Returns and refunds:
We are happy to refund your purchase if the book is damaged or if we’ve made a mistake in filling your order.
Incorrect, damaged or faulty items may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a replacement or full refund (including postage costs).
Special orders which are "print on demand" (POD) or Firm sale to us cannot be returned unless they are damaged or faulty.
Otherwise we don’t offer refunds but we are happy to exchange a purchase or give you bookshop credit within 30 days of purchase as long as the book is returned in its original sellable condition.
We comply with Australian Consumer laws regarding returns and refunds. Please contact us with any enquiries about refunds and exchanges.
